Regulatory Senior Data Analyst – Your future position?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Fragrance & Beauty Regulatory Affairs and Product Safety (RAPS) team, in the role Regulatory Senior Data Analyst. Set within the Global Regulatory Ingredients Compliance Strategy Centre of Excellence (CoE) and based in our offices in Argenteuil (FR), Baierbrunn (GE), Vernier (SW), Sao Paulo (BR) or East Hanover (USA).

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will help ensure global chemical compliance and classification for our natural extraction processes. This position is related to data integrity compliance with a focus on natural ingredients within the Fragrance & Beauty Division.

As an important player, you will bring your expertise to the team and translate into a true business partnership. You will report to the Regulatory Affairs Director.

Regulatory Knowledge - Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation integrity by managing regulatory data about natural ingredients and associated compliance requirements within our systems. Collaborate with operations to gain a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing processes and specificities related to several natural ingredients.

 

Regulatory Partnership - Serve as the Regulatory Expert for managing natural ingredients. Provide operational teams with regulatory insights and guidance, translating complex regulatory requirements into clear, relevant information to support informed decision-making and foster a culture of compliance.

 

Analytical Expertise: Acquire and analyze information necessary to ensure product compliance on naturals. Understand chemicals and naturals regulations and customer requirements to determine necessary changes needed to manage them in compliance systems accordingly. In collaboration with our Innovation Experts, manage our master data set, develop reports, run audits, and make recommendations to define Regulatory strategy and contribute to business growth.

 

Global Project Management – Participate in global projects related to regulatory data integrity, focusing on natural ingredients. Contribute to the development of tools that meet regulatory and customer requirements and support process improvement projects.

Your professional profile includes:

  • Advanced University / MS Degree / Ph. D in Chemistry or a related scientific field, with a focus on natural ingredients and chemical characterization.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant industry experience in regulatory affairs, in the registration of natural products with botanical knowledge.
  • Understand of global chemical compliance and classification, with experience in chemical regulations and consumer product regulations (e.g.: cosmetic and detergents).
  • Familiarity with global chemical control legislations and knowledge of EU-REACH.
  • Experience with regulatory database management and SAP EH&S.
  • Affinity for information systems with SAP skills – Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Understand the specifics of manufacturing processes for different natural ingredients.
  • Business-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Rigorous spirit.
