We made some big changes
ai-jobs.net v5.0
Table of contents
First of all, we now have a Changelog within our Insights section, yay ๐
So whenever we change, launch or fix something on the site you can read about it if you like and see the most recent headlines in your dashboard as well. We think that's much better than spamming you with email updates/newletter stuff ;)
We also use some semantic versioning (like we already did for a long time - shown in the footer section) which usually indicates major, minor or less significant/bugfix changes. A changelog entry like this should usually come with every major or minor change.
On to the real change...
Jobseeker accounts are now paid-only
For all new signups on and after May 1st 2024 (existing accounts stay free for at least the next 90 days) we ask you to subscribe for a small monthly or even smaller quarterly fee to use the job email alert, job marks, extended search and talent profile functionality on the site. This also includes all future features and improvements, some of it already in the making :)
There are a ton of reasons for it, and we think this should have been implemented much earlier tbh, but to keep it short: it's to massively improve the site in the near future (and long-term, remember: we've been around since 2018 !), reduce spam accounts, and also have as many great jobs as possible available on ai-jobs.net (curated + organic).
This all seems helpful in a kind of mixed market environment like we have it now where employers are hiring like crazy on one side and also constantly letting people go on the other. Plus: this might be the future of jobsearch in general. You probably won't have an edge anymore in the market finding the best opportunities without such solutions/services.
The employer side of things
There will be massive changes to the employer side as well which should make ai-jobs.net even more attractive to them. So more eyeballs and opportunities for everyone - hopefully.
Let's bulid the best place to foster AI/ML/Data careers on the web together!
Stay tuned.
