Data Analyst

FocusKPI is looking for a Data Analyst to join the one of our clients, a high-tech, SaaS company. 

The client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join their growing team. You are responsible for extracting insights from complex data sets to inform business decisions.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US
Duration: 12 months contract 
Pay Range: $50/hr to $57/hr

Responsibilities:

Data Acquisition and Management:

• Collect and integrate data from primary and secondary sources
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases and data systems

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Filter and clean data to ensure quality and accuracy
• Identify trends, patterns, and correlations in complex data sets
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze results and provide insights

Reporting and Communication:

• Develop and deliver regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations
• Interpret and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent experience.
• Technical Skills:

1. Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation.
2. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
3. Strong understanding of statistical methods and techniques.
4. Experience with data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify meaningful insights. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear and concise manner. 
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
