This is an ideal opportunity for someone who loves accurately collecting and visualising data for technical and non-technical audiences and decision-makers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Analyst to join our team. In this Global role, you will be responsible for gathering accurate, reliable, and timely data from various sources to support our Planet and People goals across our business and suppliers. This includes data on environmental and social impact, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, as well as supplier management data.

You will also be responsible for responding to requests for information (RFIs) from clients. Speed and accuracy of response is of the essence. This is currently an ad hoc process involving multiple subject area specialists across the business. With support from these stakeholders, you will streamline and centralise our approach and deliver responses in a timely and accurate manner.

What you'll do:

Undertake Data Projects for Reporting, including:

  • Build macro picture of data and trends across our Planet and People Commitments

Respond to client requests (RFIs) for ESG information

  • Undertake ESG responses for complex client RFIs (RFIs undertaken through third party platforms)
  • Ensure required data is complete, consistent and held centrally
  • Ensure responses are undertaken within tight deadlines

  • Verify the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data collected from different sources.
  • Review data for consistency and resolve any discrepancies or issues before it is used for further analysis.
  • Ensure that all data collected adheres to company standards, policies, and any regulatory requirements.

Data Entry and Management:

  • Enter collected data into appropriate databases, spreadsheets, or data management systems.
  • Organize and maintain data in a structured manner to ensure it is easily accessible and retrievable when needed.
  • Regularly update data and ensure it is kept current and relevant to ongoing projects and analyses.

Reporting and Analysis Support:

  • Preparing reports, summaries, and presentations based on the collected data.

Compliance and Confidentiality:

  • Ensure all data collection processes comply with relevant regulations and company policies, especially in areas such as privacy and data protection.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data and ensure it is handled according to company standards.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other departments, stakeholders, and external partners to gather data and ensure it aligns with project objectives.
  • Communicate effectively to clarify data requirements and ensure alignment with data collection goals.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for candidates who are committed to making this new role a success, and who enjoy working with data. You will be proactive and organised with strong attention to detail. You will be competent in working with spreadsheets and powerpoint to both collect data and present data insights in a visually compelling way.
