As a Senior Tech Recruiter, you will be responsible for ownership of multiple recruiting verticals within our Technology organization, as well as broad enterprise-wide Talent projects which in turn drive the talent acquisition function's success. 
You will be the point person for various members of our Senior Tech Leadership team so should be adept at being able to prioritise initiatives & hiring activity on a quarter-to-quarter basis, scope & lead projects, and utilise multi-sequence thinking to navigate some of these complex hiring scenarios. Additionally, you will be a natural storyteller using data and insights to support effective communication with your senior stakeholders.
This role will require a strong focus on individual recruiting metrics, project performance, and project outcomes. Collaboration with other managers and stakeholders will be critical for success in this role. 
For this position, a comprehensive understanding of technical recruiting is essential. You will be responsible for covering all aspects of technical recruiting at Bumble and must be able to adapt to various technology functions. Experience in recruiting for the UK and US markets is required. Familiarity with our technology stack would be advantageous.

This is a full time contractor position until the end of the year.

What you'll do

  • Prioritize and manage a complex range of tasks and projects related to talent acquisition, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
  • Utilize a quarter-to-quarter prioritization approach to allocate resources and efforts effectively, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and drive projects, employing multi-sequence thinking to anticipate potential outcomes and proactively plan for contingencies.
  • Leverage data and insights to craft communication that effectively details talent acquisition strategies, successes, and challenges to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to understand their needs, provide guidance on talent acquisition best practices, and align recruitment efforts with business objectives and commercial output.
  • Engage in Bumble's TA learning initiatives, staying abreast of industry trends, sharing knowledge, and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies.
  • Establish and track individual recruiting metrics to evaluate performance, measure progress, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate project performance and outcomes, utilizing data-driven insights to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
  • Actively collaborate with other managers and stakeholders across the organization, fostering strong relationships, and ensuring a seamless and cohesive talent acquisition process.

Who you are

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, with strong knowledge of technical hiring across a broad spectrum of technologies, preferably in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in an ambiguous, fast-evolving environment. Adapt and deliver solutions to overcome challenges and meet recruitment goals, even amidst change.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, while delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to employ multi-sequence thinking to navigate complex scenarios
  • Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, with a knack for translating data and insights into compelling narratives for senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to track and measure recruiting metrics and project outcomes.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and building relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in talent acquisition, and a continuous learning mindset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
