The Reporting Analyst is responsible for deriving actionable insight using analytical tools and techniques to inform business strategy, drive sales and improve company performance.  The Reporting Analyst will serve as a liaison with assigned stakeholders and internal partners to understand goals and assist in the creation of analytics plans to support key drivers of the business. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with sales team and stakeholders to perform insights and reporting for Protective’s various business units.
  • Insights and reporting with various tools (i.e. Excel, Power BI, etc.) Facilitate and lead regular performance & insights discussions with product and sales leadership.
  • Utilize technology and team expertise to create and devise solutions to business problems and opportunities.
  • Participate in projects to create/enhance/modify current reporting output.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key operations, product, business, and IT/data partners throughout the organization to drive forward initiatives and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
  • Master’s degree a plus.
  • 0-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Power BI for creating and managing reports and dashboards.
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions, formulas, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with SQL or Python for use in data analysis, deriving insights, and communicating results a plus.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus.
