Main area of responsibility US / Mexico (1 sales office, 2 plants), but member of Group Data/analytics team

Reporting to Director of Digital Services (Data Analytics, AI & Healthcare apps)

Dotted line reporting to IT Cluster manager - North America

Remote work policy: 2 days per week
Job Summary:
The Sr. Data Analyst is an integral member of the Group Data/analytics team, contributing to data-driven decision-making across the entire organization. While the primary focus is on North American operations, the role involves significant collaboration with international teams, including but not limited to data engineering, analytics, business applications, in Europe and other regions.
This position requires a global perspective and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders from diverse functions and geographical locations. Limited travel within the US, Mexico and Europe may be required to engage with stakeholders and/or attend industry events.
This role requires a strong understanding and experience on data analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, as well as knowledge of the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Insights:
-
Steer the NA analytics roadmap by fully understanding key North America organization challenges and priorities

Develop and execute data analysis strategies to address business questions and identify opportunities.

Utilize data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI) to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets in collaboration with group data engineering teams
-
Translate complex data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

Design, develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and monitor business performance.

Manage prioritization, planning and capacity planning to ensure optimal project management.

Act as a ink between technology and data business needs, the data engineering team, and Business Applications Team ensuring that expectations are properly understood

Coordinate and monitor functional acceptance to ensure that delivery complies to the needs.

Business Partnerships:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, marketing, sales, operations) to understand their Technology & Data needs and provide relevant insights

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making is integrated into business processes

Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the team
-
Provide support and training to promote data analytics

Data Governance:

Establish and maintain data governance standards and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.

Develop and implement data quality control measures.

Innovation:

Stay up to date on emerging data analysis technologies and trends

Identify opportunities to leverage data to drive innovation and improve business outcomes

Identify integration of AI to drive value for the organization

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, or a related field
-
5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on business intelligence, reporting, data modelling
-
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI)
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Experience in Consumer good manufacturing context

Knowledge of the North American market and business landscape
Technology Stack:

Data platform: MS Fabric

Data visualization: Power BI (with MS Copilot 365)
Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field

Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
