Te tūranga – The role 

As a Senior Data Engineer you will work to develop, support and maintain the Bank’s data-based solutions. This is an opportunity where you will be able to shape our vision and impact the future of the way we work. Modern DevOps practices are a big part of this role where you will be releasing and deploying data pipelines. ETL, Source Code Management, and data pipelines are key parts of this role as well as data warehousing.

Ō pūkenga – About you  

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience as a Senior Data Engineer using, developing and supporting cloud-based database and data warehousing solutions (preferably Azure)

• Extensive experience with data pipelines and ETL

• Experience transforming data with a programming language such as Python, NodeJS, or C#

• The ability to translate technical detail and tailor communication

• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills

• Experience in database design, modelling, processes and standards

The anticipated appointment range for this role is $130,000 to $135,000. Actual salary will be dependent on your skills and experience.
