Data Architect

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Application Cloud Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Review of the architecture of existing systems.
• Analyze of the integration of different information systems.
• Review of data warehouse architecture.
• Design, review and development of data warehouse architecture components
• Produce of data warehouse architecture documents, design and analysis models, implementation models.
• Follow up of the data analysis and data modelling.
• Document of the technical implementations.
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
• Provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues and data quality issues
• Assist in the testing, the technical documentation, the deployment, the evaluation and the reporting.

Requirements

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Have at least a Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 12+ years of Oracle & PL/SQL expertise
• Advanced PL/SQL (cursors, exception handling, triggers, dynamic SQL, procedures, packages)
• Performance tuning for Oracle & MS SQL Server
• Experience with Oracle external procedures & Flashback features
• Expertise in Microservices Architecture & RDBMS cloud-based solutions
• Knowledge of Publish-Subscribe Model, Sagas APIs, Lock-Free Reservation
• Experience with Sessionless Transactions, Edition-Based Redefinition, Transaction Guard, DDL Change Notification
• Strong understanding of Relational DBMS, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and data warehouse applications
• Expertise with ETL tools & complex file transformation
• Proficiency in UML, data modeling tools, and software development methodologies (RUP, Agile, etc.)
• Good working knowledge of Java
• Experience with Wiki & collaborative sites
• Proficiency of English language at minimum a B2 level.
