Senior Software Engineer (Python, LLM, GEN AI)

Job Description

Our NielsenIQ Technology teams are working on our new “Discover” platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure. Our clients around the world rely on NielsenIQ’s data and insights to innovate and grow. 

As an Engineer, you’ll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies. Right now our platform is  Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Mongo, Postgres and Snowflake, GenAI, LLM, and we continue to adopt the best of breed in cloud-native, low-latency technologies. Responsibilities

• Write maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible, and user-friendly applications, using Python, LLM, cloud Architecture
• Develop highly available, low latency, cloud-native applications 
• Work with Team members
• Participate in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) of our Analytic applications - conceptualize, design, develop, test and deploy  

Qualifications 

• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience in emberding model like vector databases.
• Experience in model deployment using FastAPI, Azure ML, or cloud-based AI services.
• Proficiency in Azure OpenAI for fine-tuning and deploying LLMs.
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering & RAG to optimize enterprise AI applications.
• Experience working with LLMs like GPT, BERT, Microsoft Phi-3, T5 or similar transformers.
• Familiarity with MLOps best practices for deploying AI solutions at scale.
