Role Overview:

To plan, build and implement innovative quantitative analytic methodologies, procedures, products and models within a broad framework in order to enhance and inform strategic decisions in the FNB Retail Transact Business

Are you someone who can:

  • Developing competitive and profitable pricing models.
  • Quantify impact of pricing changes by using data analytics techniques
  • Forecast the pricing impact on the budget and forecast horizons.
  • Conducting research on market conditions.
  • Ensure all pricing strategies comply with banking regulations and guidelines.
  • Intermediate to Advanced level skills in either SAS, SQL, Python or R.
  • Provide structure by being detail oriented and well organized
  • Strong Analytical & Quantitative Skills

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have a degree in one of the following (Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, Data Science or Actuarial Science)
  • A post-grad qualification in the above field will serve as an added advantage
  • Have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience in financial modelling, data analytics and pricing optimization
  • Familiarity with banking regulations, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
