The Graphic Architecture Team, is looking for you.
As a GPU Architect your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Developing and driving end-to-end GPU architecture specifications for highly optimized, modular, and scalable GPUs.
- Conducting comprehensive competitive analysis, standards efforts, and tracking industry trends to inform the development of a feature roadmap that meets platform requirements.
- Ensuring interoperability of hardware and software throughout the product lifecycle.
- Defining and driving GPU functionality, connectivity, configuration, performance, timing, power, and area goals.
- Evaluating feasibility trade-offs and exploring novel GPU architectures for future offerings.
- Delivering optimized GPUs for multiple market segments, from ultra-low power mobile solutions to high-performance GPUs, supercomputers, and custom-designed GPUs.
- Developing testing strategies and initial test plans, performing behavioral and performance modeling of new features, and analyzing results using advanced statistics and data prediction techniques for benchmarking and ROI determination.
- Providing experimental or proof-of-concept changes to propose design alternatives meeting performance, power, area, and timing constraints.
- Reviewing, challenging, and influencing cross-functional roadmaps, and defining technology targets for future GPUs.
- Collaborating with architects, design engineers, verification engineers, and research teams to enhance the overall GPU design and resolve performance bottlenecks and constraints
- Working closely with presilicon and postsilicon teams to debug, root-cause, and identify workarounds for critical failures

Qualifications:
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, or related computing discipline with 6+ Years of relevant experience
- OR Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, or related computing discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience
- Experience specifying micro-architectures, micro-architecture techniques and research
- Experience in C/C++, Python or similar programming languages
Preferred qualifications:
- Expertise in graphics and 3D programming
- Experience in AI/ML algorithms
- Experience in performance and power analysis.
- Experience in cache design
- Experience in ISA (Instruction Set Architecture)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:
$161,230.00-$227,620.00Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
Work Model for this Role
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
