Job Description

The Retail Data Analyst supports Ent's Retail function by enhancing data-driven decision-making across branches and retail support teams. This role is responsible for automating and optimizing data reporting, creating and analyzing employee and branch production metrics, and providing actionable insights to retail leaders to improve operational efficiency, member satisfaction, and strategic outcomes. The Retail Data Analyst will also collaborate with the Operations Analytics team, ensuring alignment of team efforts with organizational priorities and promoting consistent data practices and standards across the Retail division.

Essential Functions

  • Data Reporting and Performance Optimization: Automate data reporting processes to improve accessibility, accuracy, and efficiency. Develop tools and dashboards to enable retail leaders to analyze production data and track performance metrics. Ensure reporting aligns with organizational standards and provides actionable insights. Analyze employee production data across branches and departments to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with retail leadership to develop benchmarks and strategies for enhanced performance and member engagement.
  • Insight Generation and Decision Support: ? Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve decision-making. Present findings to senior leadership and retail teams in a way that drives strategic action and operational improvements.
  • Collaboration and Alignment: Partner with departments such as Marketing, Business Development, and Risk Management to align data initiatives with broader organizational goals. Work with the enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure consistency in data collection and analysis. Work closely with retail leadership to prioritize analytics projects, align team efforts with business strategies, and deliver insights that drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Data Integrity and Standards: Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with all organizational standards. Educate retail leaders and the Operations Analytics team on data interpretation and best practices, fostering a data-driven culture within the Retail function.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Math, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years' of combined experience in data analytics, reporting, or business intelligence, preferably in financial services.

Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of a bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of account experience could be substituted for a high school diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a master's degree in accounting and 0 years of work experience.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Proficient in SQL.
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to present complex data clearly to business stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Skilled in Python, R, or other statistical programming languages.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Microsoft Azure or similar.
  • Breadth and depth of knowledge of the credit union industry, including retail financial services operations and analytics.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is: $114,004 to $127,774 per Year (S17)

Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, and internal pay equity.
