Senior Data Engineer (f/m/d)

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our experienced and motivated Data Platform team. In this role, you will design and implement scalable data platforms and infrastructure, mentor junior engineers, and lead data-centric projects. Your expertise will help transform raw data into actionable insights.

What you will do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines using Databricks and other technologies.
• Build and optimize robust ETL frameworks for large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on project goals.
• Ensure data reliability and efficiency in handling large datasets.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
• Evaluate new data technologies to enhance existing processes.

What you bring & who you are:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in Databricks, AWS Glue, and Apache Spark.
• Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes, and large-scale data processing.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar language for data engineering tasks.
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and ensure clear communication.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like Azure and related data services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for optimizing data systems.
