The Challenge

DataOps Engineers will be part of an innovative Enterprise data team that enables Marketing, Product, Sales, and Finance to explore data and take actions that differentiate us from our competition.  You will work closely with enterprise data team and domain experts to support the development of scalable, reliable, and efficient data platform solutions by implementing robust DataOps practices and infrastructure automation.

Your Mission

• You will work closely with enterprise data team and domain experts to support the development of scalable, reliable, and efficient data platform solutions by implementing robust DataOps practices and infrastructure automation.
• Build internal tools for Data Lineage and Data Quality Frameworks.
• Build, deploy and manage Custom ingestion framework for batch and streaming data.
• Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation for data pipelines and platform environments.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows, ensuring smooth and automated deployments of ETL jobs, data transformations, and AI/ML models.
• Set up and maintain monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus) to track performance and health of data pipelines, workflows, and infrastructure.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in data workflows and platform infrastructure to improve performance and reduce processing times.
• Implement robust security practices, including access control, data encryption, and vulnerability management, to protect sensitive enterprise data
• Perform Administration, Maintenance and provide support to production systems (Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, Power BI, AWS Airflow, CICD Tools)
• Build and automate AWS native technologies, deploy applications, and provision infrastructure.
• Work effectively using scrum with multiple team members to deliver value effectively.

You Are

This hands-on technical role demands excellent knowledge and can demonstrate best practices in the industry.    

Your Experience Includes

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of overall experience and 3+ years of experience with large-scale enterprise data projects.
• Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in provisioning, configuration, and scaling of resources to support data workflows and ensure reliability.
• 4+ years of strong Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Database concepts (RDBMS, NoSQL).
• 4+ years of experience in scripting languages (Python, Java).
• Hands on experience in data streaming technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, SQS.
• Experience in CI/CD Pipeline Implementation and Maintenance using Jenkins, github.
• Experience with AWS Web services, Azure cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
• Experience in implementing centralized logging systems to ensure efficient troubleshooting and observability.
• Experience in collaborating with governance teams to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards like GDPR, HIPAA.
• Experience in engaging with data engineers, analysts, and platform architects to align infrastructure and operational requirements with team goals.
• Experience in reporting and resolving incidents related to data platform infrastructure, pipelines, or workflows, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Prior experience in implementing robust backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience in evaluating new tools and enriching existing architecture.
