Data Modeler(Remote)

Responsibilities: 

• Data Model Design and Development: 

• Design and develop logical and physical data models for the Customer and Loan Master Data API solution, encompassing schemas for loan, borrower, property, application, and other related data entities. 

• Data Integrity and Consistency: 

• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all systems by implementing appropriate constraints, validation rules, and data quality checks within the data models. 

• Data Mapping and Integration: 

• Create detailed data mappings between source systems (e.g., DataTrac, BytePro, LoanServ, Salesforce CRM) and the master data repository. 

• Collaboration and Communication: 

• Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure the data model is effectively implemented and integrated into the API solution. 

• Documentation and Standards: 

• Maintain comprehensive data model documentation, including data dictionaries, entity-relationship diagrams (ERDs), and data flow diagrams. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

• Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Modeler, Data Architect.. 

• Technical Skills: 

• Expert knowledge of data modeling principles, techniques, and methodologies (e.g., relational, dimensional, star schema, snowflake schema). 

• Proficiency with data modeling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, SAP PowerDesigner, or similar tools. 

• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers. 

• Experience with database management systems (DBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. 

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus. 

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques.
