We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join a cross-functional team, working closely with R&D, Analytics and Product teams. This individual will play a critical role in validating product hypotheses through measuring impact based on data.

Responsibilities 

Master Data Cleansing and Management

• Perform ad hoc master data cleansing efforts to support data analysis
• Contribute to the implementation of automatic master data cleansing mechanisms with observations and ideas
• Identify data consistency issue across various solutions and suggest ways to resolve

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Understand product, value proposition and hypotheses to test. Contribute to the definition of key performance metrics.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to measure the potential impact of various product hypotheses
• Prepare reports and insights for various stakeholders to showcase analysis results
• Contribute to the development of client facing dashboards and reports
• Build internal reporting to facilitate operational management

Cross-functional collaboration

• Identify opportunities to improve data integration, reporting capabilities, and data-driven decision-making
• Work closely with R&D teams to understand the technical limitations and capabilities of the data platform, ensuring that business requirements are feasible and actionable
• Partner with Product Managers to evaluate feature requests and ensure that the product roadmap aligns with business objectives and strategic goals

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role in a data-driven or technology-focused environment
• Experience in working with R&D, Product, Data or Engineering teams to gather and analyze requirements for technical projects or data platforms
• Strong understanding and mastery of data platforms, cloud technologies, data analytics, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL)
• Ability to work with large datasets, perform data analysis, and derive actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with consolidated data platforms or enterprise data solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and data science concepts is a plus
• Familiarity with the retail industries and retail specific data (eg. NielsenIQ, IRI) is a strong plus
