Burr Pilger Mayer India Pvt. Ltd. (BPM India) is a subsidiary of BPM LLP. With 14 offices across the Bay Area, BPM serves emerging and mid-cap businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals in a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, life science, manufacturing, food, wine, and craft brewing, automotive, nonprofits, real estate, and construction. The Firm’s International Tax Practice is one of the largest on the West Coast, and its well-recognized SEC practice serves approximately 35 public reporting companies, mostly in the technology industry.
Culture of Data: As BPM continues to build a data-driven culture, the Data Analyst will be supporting the continued success of that effort.  For BPM, the culture of data represents the firm’s approach to data management, stewardship, lineage, architecture, collection, storage, and utilization for delivering analytic results.  It also includes tools, applications and approaches which lead the firm to have access to timely and accurate data.  This role will play an integral part in the delivery, maintenance, building of the analytic environment.
Job Overview:As a member of the Business Insights and Analytics (BIA) team within the Business Transformation Office, the Data Analyst will play a crucial role. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in creating Qlik dashboards and managing ad-hoc data requests. This role demands a collaborative team player who can deliver timely and accurate data analysis for BPM LLP.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Qlik dashboards to support business decisions with actionable insights.
  • Handle ad-hoc data requests and provide timely and accurate data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and multinational teams in the United States to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across Qlik and ad-hoc data requests.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 2 years of proven experience in creating Qlik dashboards.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and creating interactive dashboards using Qlik.
  • Strong understanding of SQL
  • Experience with data engineering and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently without supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to take direction and be self-sufficient in their work.
  • Familiarity with data governance and data quality best practices is preferred.
  • Experience with other data visualization tools and platforms is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Fully remote position
  • Sitting, and typing (repetitive motion) are strong components of the role.
  • First 6 months will be required to work United States Eastern time and then move to local India time.
  • Minimal travel might be required.
