Intern, Decision Management SG

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analytics intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data-analytics, work on real-world business challenges and contribute to impactful projects within the bank.

 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting, cleaning and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
• Develop and maintain SAS and Tableau dashboards
• Support the team in designing and executing data models, statistical analyses and predictive analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations
• Document processes and methodologies to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing
• Explore and experiment with new tools, techniques, and technologies to improve data analytics capabilities.
• Assist the team on any other ad-hoc tasks.

 

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computing, Statistics or related field
• Fluent in programming language SQL and Python
• Familiar with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization platforms (Tableau)
• Basic knowledge or willing to learn SAS
• Knowledge of statistical modeling and machine learning models
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Enthusiasm for problem-solving and learning new technologies
• Have interest in consumer banking industry
