The Role:
The Senior Director of Product Management is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining and driving the product vision, strategy, and execution across the organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success, to deliver innovative and customer-centric products that align with business objectives.
This role is based out of our Palo Alto, CA office, and an Onsite interview is required as part of the process (with some flexibility to WFH).
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the company's overall goals.
- Lead and manage a team of product managers, providing mentorship, career development, and performance management.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to prioritize and align product roadmaps with company objectives.
Product Development
- Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Ensure customer feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis inform product decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing and sales to define go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
- Collaborate with customer success and support teams to address user needs and enhance product satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability across departments.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Leverage data and analytics to define product KPIs and measure success.
- Monitor product performance and make data-informed decisions to iterate and improve.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market shifts.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience managing large teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Aha!) and data analysis platforms.
- Ability to balance short-term tactical needs with long-term strategic goals.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer science (MBA preferred)
