Subfamily Description
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will join the Nokia Mobile Network Architecture and Specification team, leveraging the latest advancements in machine learning to reduce energy consumption at the RAN level. You will contribute to various internal Nokia and funded projects, proposing innovative algorithms for the RAN. Additionally, you will communicate your findings internally and externally through presentations and discussions with team members and project stakeholders. We seek an engineer with expertise in machine learning algorithms and a strong understanding of wireless communication, particularly 4G and 5G mobile communication.
What you will learn and contribute to
- Develop machine learning algorithms in Python or C++.
- Study recent advancements in standardization groups like 3GPP and create algorithms focused on energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Process key performance indicators and convert measurement data and configuration files into standard formats for machine learning training.
- Publish results through presentations or publications in group studies or conferences.
- Master's degree in computer science, telecommunications, or a related field.
- Experience in C++ and Python programming, focusing on using machine learning libraries in Python.
- Experience with data analytics in Python (pandas, matplotlib,...)
- Strong knowledge of wireless communication, particularly 5G.
- Familiarity with MLOps or other pipelining frameworks.
- Proficiency in supervised learning and deep learning algorithms.
