Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Azure AI Leader 

We are seeking an AVP to lead AI engineering teams in building and delivering Azure-based AI solutions for enterprise-grade products. This role requires a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and the ability to build and manage high-performing teams while ensuring scalable, reliable, and impactful AI features. 

  

Responsibilities 

Leadership and Team Building 

• Recruit, mentor, and manage AI engineering teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. 

• Drive delivery of AI-powered features on time and within scope, aligning with product roadmaps. 

• Cultivate a results-driven culture that encourages innovation and excellence. 

AI Product Development 

• Architect and lead the implementation of AI solutions using Azure Machine Learning, Azure OpenAI, Prompt Flow, and Cognitive Services. 

• Design and optimize RAG systems for intelligent document retrieval and workflows for structured and unstructured data using Azure AI Document Intelligence and Cognitive Search. 

• Oversee the customization and deployment of large language models (LLMs) to meet product needs. 

AI Operations and Delivery 

• Ensure robust monitoring, model retraining, and lifecycle management to maintain accuracy and performance. 

• Manage operational pipelines, including CI/CD, for scalable and production-ready AI deployments. 

• Address data drift and system reliability through proactive monitoring and optimization. 

Governance and Best Practices 

• Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles, governance frameworks, and regulatory standards. 

• Establish documentation and knowledge-sharing practices to support scalable team operations. 

  

Qualifications we seek in you! 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Proven experience leading AI engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade AI solutions. 

• Expertise in Azure AI tools: Azure Machine Learning, OpenAI, Prompt Flow, Cognitive Services. 

• Strong understanding of AI/ML operations, including model monitoring, data drift detection, and optimization. 

• Hands-on experience with LLM customization and fine-tuning. 

• Track record of recruiting and building high-performing teams and driving successful project deliveries. 

• Knowledge of secure data handling, compliance, and governance in AI workflows.
