Your team

You'll be working in the Chief Data Office (CDO) within UBS Global Asset Management. We're responsible for defining data strategy and supporting the management of core data sets used across Asset Management. Our team is structured to encompass several functions, including Digital Data Services, Data Mastering & Governance, Data Architecture, and Data Analytics & AI. We're based in New York City, Chicago, Zurich, and Pune.

Your expertise

You have:
• minimum of 5 years of experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing results from various data sources
• minimum of 5 years of experience with Python, SQL, and Gitlab
• advanced skills in using Machine Learning and Generative AI tools
• ability to explain and present your analyses and models to audiences with varying levels of expertise
• analytical and problem-solving skills together with good time management and organization of your own work
• strong technical writing and documentation skills combined with a disciplined agile delivery mindset
• data domain knowledge of market data, security reference data, macroeconomics indicators, equity fundamental data, trades and positions data, risk data is a plus
• BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent

You are:
• experienced in developing, training, and validating AI models
• curious, proactive and self-driven with strong interest in data science and Generative AI
• great in communicating, facilitating, and managing stakeholders (and you know how to handle challenging situations)
• able to explain technical concepts in simple, intuitive terms to facilitate collaboration
• co-operative and team-oriented, while being able to motivate and organize yourself and complete tasks autonomously to high quality standards
