We are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our AD Perception team, focusing on scene understanding and generative modeling for autonomous driving. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong research background who are eager to apply their expertise in machine learning to real-world challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of researchers and engineers to develop innovative models and algorithms that enhance our perception stack.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize ML models for semantic segmentation, object detection, and 3D scene reconstruction.
  • Research generative modeling techniques (e.g., GANs, diffusion models) for synthetic scene creation and data augmentation.
  • Contribute to automated map generation and real-time updates using perception outputs.
  • Work with large-scale multi-modal datasets (camera, LiDAR, radar) and enhance fusion approaches.
  • Present research findings and contribute to publications or internal reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MS degree in Major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, with a strong focus on machine learning, computer vision, and/or natural language processing etc.)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Major in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field, with a strong focus on machine learning, computer vision, and/or natural language processing.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and training deep learning models, particularly in 3D scene understanding and reconstruction, map generation, or map-based perception.
  • Solid understanding of state-of-the-art generative models.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with deep learning libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a closely related discipline
  • Publication record in reputable AI/ML/CV/NLP conferences or journals
  • Experience with Autonomous Driving algorithms and systems
