RPA Lead

We are seeking an experienced RPA Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in UiPath and Power Automate RPA tools, with a proven track record of delivering successful automation solutions. You will be responsible for leading the RPA initiatives, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement in automation practices.

This is an onsite position based at the Opening Solutions Americas headquarters in New Haven, CT.

What you will be doing
 

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of RPA solutions using UiPath and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define project scope.
• Conduct feasibility studies and create detailed automation workflows.
• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices for RPA development and implementation.
• Monitor and maintain existing automation processes, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the automation environment.
• Stay updated on RPA trends and technologies, providing recommendations for enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all automation activities.

What we are looking for
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically in RPA development (UiPath and power automate).
• Hands-on experience with UiPath and Power Automate, including certifications (preferred).
• Strong understanding of RPA lifecycle, design principles, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., C#, VBA, .net , Python) is must.
• Solid experience with database management (SQL) and Excel for data handling.
• Knowledge of UiPath document understanding related experience is must.

Preferred Skills:
 

• Experience with integrating RPA solutions with other systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Exposure to machine learning and AI-powered automation solutions.
• Familiarity with OCR tools (such as Microsoft Azure Computer Vision, Google OCR, ABBYY) is a bonus.
• Knowledge of version control systems like SVN, GIT hub etc is plus.
