Data Analyst Your area of responsibility
  • Collect and structure the requirements of the stakeholder departments. Establish a SCRUM or alternative implementation process
  • Preparing and processing a solid (centralized) database, including data modeling and setup of automated ETL pipelines (potentially supporting the introduction of set ETL automation tool)
  • Cooperating in projects to prepare and use production and machine data, code management, and documentation
  • Ensuring data exchange and development of (cloud) applications for data-driven business
  • Establish a consistent architecture and terminology
  • Conducting data analyses for Stakeholder department data, extracting relevant characteristics, and preparing meaningful, target-audience-focused visualizations. Foster greater insights through combinational data analyses
  • Conducting exploratory data analyses for key stakeholders
  • Driving the current (digital) transformation of the shop floor through the use of leading-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and automated data analytics in combination with the Internet of Things
This job is exactly right for you if...
  • have completed a master’s degree in a technical area (information technology, engineering or similar)
  • already have experience in data analytics and visualization, and ETL and data modeling are terms you resonate with
  • want to contribute your experience in digital technologies and trends (e.g., Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, etc.) to maxon
  • are a systematic person, capable in requirement engineering and collaborative with stakeholders
  • are fluent in the Python programming language and familiar with various programming libraries (NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn)
  • have in-depth experience in the linking of business strategies with relevant technology investments and projects
  • have a track record of overcoming challenges through information-led approaches
  • have experience in leading teams in a complex and globally networked organization
