Data is at the heart of everything we do. As a Senior Data Governance Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through their data-driven transformations. Your expertise will help them unlock business value from their data and evolve into more data-driven organizations. You excel at bridging the gap between technical teams like data scientists and analysts and business stakeholders, ensuring that complex data concepts are clearly translated into business insights.

With your strong strategic mindset, you will support business leaders in identifying and prioritizing key challenges, focusing on those that offer the greatest potential for impact. You are confident in presenting to senior management, articulating data strategies, and advocating for the value of data governance at all levels of an organization.

What we are looking for

We seek a dedicated, proactive, and experienced Data Governance Consultant to join our dynamic team at Eviden.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end data quality, governance, and management across diverse projects. You will also have the opportunity to support business development and pre-sales activities, positioning yourself as a key player in our growth. You will design and deliver innovative data solutions across a variety of industry sectors, including Life Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Energy, Utilities, and Financial Services.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Strategy, and Data Management.
• Knowledge of legal aspects of data governance, including regulations like GDPR, AI Act, and others.
• Experience with Data Management implementation programs and IT delivery methodologies.
• DMBOK certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in data catalog tools such as Collibra, Informatica, or Azure Purview.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure (preferred) or other major cloud platforms.
• Proven ability in scoping, designing, and implementing data governance solutions.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Strong business consultancy skills, including excellent communication and facilitation capabilities. Experience in Agile environments like DevOps, SAFe, and Scrum is highly valued.
• A passion for going above and beyond to deliver innovative and creative solutions for clients.
• Willingness to travel and work at client locations both domestically and internationally.
