Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with data technologies and a strong understanding of Azure data platforms. This role will involve designing, building, and maintaining data solutions using tools like Synapse, Data Bricks, TSQL, Python, Power BI, and DevOps practices.

This position is 100% work at home.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Data Visualization: Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize and analyze data.
• Engaging with data through visualizations.
• Collaborating with data analysts and business analysts to analyze and query large datasets using a single platform.
• Ensuring data governance and quality while managing datasets for reporting strategic insights
• Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using tools like Synapse and Data Bricks, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
• ETL Processes: Develop and implement ETL processes using TSQL and Python to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Data Modeling: Create data models and schemas that align with business requirements and support data analysis.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate data processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with data technologies.
• Strong understanding of Azure data platforms, including Synapse and Data Bricks.
• Proficiency in TSQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methodologies (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• US citizen or Green Card holder.
• Must be able to work full-time in the United States.
• Candidate would need to pass Federal security checks as required by the client
