Software Quality Engineer - Generative AI (Brno Office, Czech Republic)

The Red Hat Quality Engineering team is looking for a Quality Engineer to join us in Brno Office, Czechia. In this role, you will have a focus on Generative AI applications. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating tests for AI models, algorithms, and systems, ensuring their functionality, performance, integrations and ethical standards. You will work closely with developers, data scientists, and stakeholders to ensure the quality and reliability of AI solutions through rigorous testing practices.

This team is home to some of the most well-known faces in the international QE community and will set you up for an exciting and rewarding SDET journey. What you will do

• Design and execute test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of Generative AI solutions.
• Perform testing on data validation scenarios, data ingestion, pipelines, and transformation processes (ETL).
• Test and automate API functionalities using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for performance, functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify testing requirements, set priorities, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Identify and document defects, issues, and risks related to Generative AI implementations.
• Drive continuous improvement and establish best practices for testing methodologies and AI quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI testing, tools, and frameworks, including bias detection and fairness evaluations.
• Provide detailed reports and present testing results to leadership, offering clear, business-focused insights.
• Influence team members to follow testing standards and procedures for AI systems.

What you will bring

• Proven experience in Python scripting
• Experience in API testing using Postman/Rest Assured, any AI exposure is welcome
• Familiarity with automated/performance testing and continuous integration/automation tools.
• Experience setting testing standards and influencing quality processes.
• Experience in Agile development environments is a plus
• Familiarity with testing data pipelines, data validation, and ETL processes.
• Intermediate written and verbal communication skills in English
