Position Summary
We are growing our team and seeking an entrepreneurial Director of Analytics and Reporting to join as a founding member of our Analytics team. This position reports to the Head of Data Science within our Product team, which includes product management, engineering, data science, and design.
In this newly-created position, the Director of Analytics and Reporting is principally responsible for delivering data-driven insights to internal teams and ensuring that we meet our reporting requirements to the EPA and other organizations. These insights and reports will stem from our Analytics platform—the set of tools we use to collect, process, and learn from data—which you will help to build and embed into the organization’s work.
Informative, actionable, and domain-relevant data are critical for our success in bringing electrification to households across the country. The Director of Analytics and Reporting plays a pivotal role in helping us be a data driven organization in our day-to-day operations and our forward-looking strategy, as well as democratizing access to data.
What You’ll Do

- Third party partners including Community Based Organizations, lending partners, and other members of the electrification community
- Government agencies such as the EPA and various state and local agencies
To serve these audiences, the team builds and manages tools and processes that integrate data from sources including, our website, our APIs, our CMS, and external partners. Using this data, the team weaves together disparate sources of data and builds dashboards, reports, charts, maps, and other visualizations tailored to each of its audiences’ needs.
The Director of Analytics and Reporting will be a founding member of a new dedicated organization-wide Analytics team. You will learn about all the diverse and varied data we’re collecting, and turn those data sources into insights and data products that bring clarity to our work across the organization. You will define our Analytics roadmap and hire the team to support our diverse data needs.
This is a technical and collaborative leadership role that requires working with stakeholders across the organization on our Operations, Marketing, Growth, Product, Research, and Communities teams to define data solutions that support each team’s objectives. If you love making sense of data and empowering others to get deeper insights into their work, in service of an ambitious mission, then this is the role for you.
