Who we are looking for
Master Data Management (MDM) is looking for a skilled and proven team member to support operations in our Master Data Management team in Poland. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of State Street businesses as well as detailed knowledge around data management and data governance.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
What you will be responsible for
As Data Manager, Master Data Management you will -
- Execute MDM operational processes inline with expected timeframes and quality guidelines.
- Support local colleagues in data quality initiates and projects.
- Work with CDO Leads and primary Data Steward (located in Boston) to define and identify data assets within the Informatica/MDM application, and create and enforce processes and procedures - along with access controls - to regularly monitor adherence.
- Work with CDO Leads and primary Data Steward to monitor data usage to assist the wider State Street business - sharing best practice, trends in data use, and provide insight into how and where teams can use MDM data to help in day-to-day decision-making. Manage key standard reporting and dashboards to give CDO Leads greater insight into data usage, trends, and standards.
- Support primary Data Steward and MDM technology partners with planning and execution of system enhancements.
- Ensuring compliance of the MDM data inline with policies, protecting the data—while providing information on potential risks and offering regulatory guidance, where available.
- Maintain quality of the data by working with CDO Leads on evolving workstreams, and using MDM consumer feedback, concerns, questions; internally reporting metrics; evaluating and identifying issues; and coordinating and implementing corrections regularly.
- Work directly with internal partners to research, troubleshoot, and lead the solution of master data related issues. Identify and manage operational issues including escalation involving appropriate management level.
- Utilize industry and/or regulatory knowledge to support State Street’s regulatory reporting initiatives and or finding resolution.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/MIS/Computer Science or equivalent work experience to substitute for education); Master's degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in Financial Services Industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of Financial data, Reference data and/or Legal Entity data is a plus.
- Experience with operations/team management is a plus.
