The Planning Data Analyst reporting into the Global Business Services Hub lead is responsible for the area of master data within the supply chain function at a central level. Working closely with the central Material Planner, central Supply Planner, Procurement Category Buyer as well as the cross-functional operations teams for the plant to enable a Strategic Planning approach for material sourcing to ensure committed output is achieved in on time and in full.
Key responsibilities
Responsible for creating, updating, and managing master data entries in the SAP system in ECC & APO.
• Coordinate with various departments to gather and verify data requirements.
• Monitor and resolve data discrepancies and issues promptly. • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data related to finished goods, raw materials, production execution, and transport. • Regularly audit and validate data to maintain high data quality standards.
• Implement data governance policies and procedures to manage data lifecycle.
• Work closely with supply chain, procurement, production, and logistics teams to understand their data needs and ensure data accuracy.
• Act as a liaison between departments to facilitate data-related projects and improvements relating to Supply Chain.
• Provide training and support to end-users on master data processes and best practices.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in master data management and implement solutions.
• Generate and analyse reports on master data metrics and KPIs to support decision-making. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of master data changes and updates. Maintain documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for master data-related issues.

Planning Data Analyst is also involved in the wider supply chain processes:
• Support the development and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.
• Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving data management practices and processes.
• Support identifying and implement best practices for master data management to enhance overall supply chain efficiency. • Utilise AI-powered technology to automate data quality checks, whilst ensuring accuracy and consistency of master data. • Leverage AI-powered technology to analyse historical data and predict future trends in Supply Chain Operations and data related requirements.
• Collaborate on projects that involve the integration of AI-powered technologies into the SAP ERP system.
• Support business in developing and refining AI-Powered data models for master data management.
