Your role as a First Nations Data & Reporting Manager is to manage data and reporting across First Nations initiatives at ANZ. Visibility and governance of this information will enable ANZ to deliver on its Australian First Nations Strategy in an impactful and efficient way.
This role will gather, analyse and draw insights from collated data and create reporting for ANZ’s First Nations Strategy, including the Reconciliation Action Plan.
This role will manage data and reporting requests for the First Nations strategy including public disclosures and ESG reporting
Role Location: Melbourne (preferred). We are open to this role being located in any major Australian capital city.
Role Type: Permanent, Full time
What will your day look like?
This role is accountable for:
- Gather, analyse and provide insights for First Nations-related data across the enterprise (e.g. employment data, customer data, RAP and Strategy outcomes)
- Lead the relationship with key internal data stakeholders to improve visibility and governance of First Nations data
- Create and disseminate reporting to key stakeholders (internal and external) to drive positive outcomes and awareness
- Manage data requests and disclosures from internal and external stakeholders (including participation in external surveys)
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for First Nations-related data and reporting matters
- Promoting and upholding principles of First Nations data sovereignty where appropriate
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
- Experience in data management, including gathering, analysing and insight reporting
- Skills in basic mathematics, statistical analysis, and relevant software (e.g. Excel, ANZ internal databases and systems)
- Strong attention to detail, and a curious/growth mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Strong self-management and discipline, ability to plan and prioritise to deliver the best outcome, and deliver outcomes within set timeframes and agreed standards
