Join Data Platform to build the future of Amadeus. We're calling it the aPaaS, Application Platform-as-a-Service, and it will encompass all the needed bricks to build a modern cloud-native application – from fast data to big data, from rules engine to machine learning - on top of the features already offered by the PaaS.

In Data Domain, the Fast Data Platform ART aims at delivering first-class technology to serve the needs of the various business domains at Amadeus in terms of real-time digestion of data, its correlation, and event detection. It aims at providing a turn-key event-driven architecture on which the business domains can build and implement cloud-native applications.

In this role you’ll:

• As a DevOps Cloud engineer, you will develop tools to operate the deployment of microservices on top of OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
• You will be responsible for setting up alerting rules and monitoring.
• Be accountable for the stability of microservices.
• Have a sense of ownership regarding production stability.
• Embrace automation using Python scripts and other tools.
• This position does not handle the installation of infrastructure or tools in place. However, it is about enabling the usage of these tools on a massive scale for the company.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electronic/systems/computer science) or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development in general.
• Experience in programming languages such as JS/Java/Groovy.
• Knowledge of Docker and containers.
• Scripting skills in Python preferably.
• Knowledge in CI/CD processes and tools, Jenkins desired.
• Desired knowledge in MongoDB.
• Good communication skills in English.
