If you’re looking to transition to or build a career in industry research, this just might be the right opening. The Summer Wellness Research Intern position will have the opportunity to be based in Dallas, Texas, between June 2 and August 8, 2025. This role will be a position in the Global Wellness + Resiliency Division of Research of the Chief Customer Officer's organization. The research division conducts high-impact, multi-site studies primarily on TaskUs’ frontline staff who are engaged in content moderation, safety work, Digital CX, AI Operations and more. Our mission is to leverage research to improve the wellness of all TaskUs employees, and inform business decisions as well as industry standards
 
At the TaskUs Wellness + Resiliency Division of Research you will have the opportunity to: 

Observe and contribute to a variety of quantitative and mixed methods research projects in business settings, right from planning through to implementation
Obtain hands-on experience in the areas of cross-functional collaborations working with data science, tooling, and operations teams
Build research reports and presentations to be disseminated to diverse audiences
Be mentored by senior leaders and research scientists from varied backgrounds and regions
Gain exposure to the trends, practices, and insights in the burgeoning field of trust & safety

Required qualifications:
Enrolled in or recently graduated from a PhD program with focus on research in the areas of Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, Human-Computer Interaction, or User Experience; Recommended for candidates in year 2 or above of relevant doctoral programs
A minimum of a 3.5 GPA
Hold CITI ethics training or equivalent human-subjects research certification
Excellent knowledge of research methods (quantitative and qualitative)
Good knowledge of statistical programs (R, Python,SPSS, etc.) .

Bonus qualifications:
Previous experience in industry research projects
Publications in the areas of Trust & Safety, HCI, Workplace Interventions, or UX
Awareness of the Trust & Safety domain and trends
