We are seeking an experienced Manager of Strategic Engagements for the Enterprise Analytics team to lead our efforts in building and maintaining our engagement strategy working closely with partnerships, collaborators, and engagements with key stakeholders. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive strategy to advance our analytics agenda, foster collaborative research and development, and promote the adoption of data and analytics across Thomson Reuters. 

About the role: 

In the role of Manager, Strategic Analytics Engagement you will:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive internal and external engagement strategy to promote data and analytics practices and culture across our organization.

  • Collaborate with leaders and executives to design and implement effective organizational strategies to ensure adoption of data, analytics, and tools across the org

  • Collaborate with various teams to identify and prioritize analytics initiatives that align with our business objectives. 

  • Develop proposals to secure support and engagement on analytics initiatives. 

  • Facilitate cross-functional working groups and committees to drive analytics adoption across the organization

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the analytics initiatives to effectively communicate the strategy to all stakeholders. 

  • Lead the development of our strategic plans and consolidated roadmap.

  • Identify areas of opportunities for data and AI training initiatives and lead the collaboration of content development and materials to release to various stakeholders. 

  • Stay current to emerging industry trends to ensure strategic direction is aligned. 

  • Develop and manage operations, budgets and resource process. 

About you: 

You are a fit of the role of Manager, Strategic Analytics Engagement, if your background includes:

  • Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree in a related field. 

  • 6+ years demonstrated experience in a Strategy, Consulting, Chief of Staff role, or in strategic support for a med/large analytics department.

  • Direct experience working with vendors to develop SOW, MSAs, and managing vendor relationships   

  • Minimum 2 years providing strategic business support in a data or analytics organization, or as chief of staff in a large analytics function.

  • Proven experience and strong understanding in data and analytics, data management and/or project management. 

  • Extensive experience supporting executive-level strategies, including developing presentations , timelines, and roadmaps

  • Proven ability to develop strategic initiatives and implement across a global organization. 

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical business functions. 

  • Excellent project management skills, with demonstrated experience using Agile and other standardized PM approaches to manage complex cross-functional projects

  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $99,400 - $184,600. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
