About The Job


Reporting to the Analytics Lead, the Associate Data Analyst will deliver insights and data solutions for your business stakeholders. As a key member of the Data & Analytics team, you will work across the entire data lifecycle from collection, preparation, advanced analysis to visualisation.  

You will work closely with internal stakeholders to help define use cases, manipulate and analyse data to identify insights and trends, and translate these findings into valuable business outcomes. Your ability to turn complex data into clear, impactful insights or data solutions will be crucial to supporting business decision-making and driving strategic initiatives.

The Role You Could Play

The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Data Design and Build:

  • Understand common data pipelines and how data flows.

  • Ability to interpret and leverage data models (conceptual, logical and dimensional) to support business needs.

  • Organise and cleanse data.

  • Develop and build data models for analytics and reporting use cases.

Analytics and Insights:

  • Apply analytical techniques to answer business questions.

  • Understand the strengths and limitations of various analytical methodologies

  • Articulate business problems clearly.

  • Translate data into insights and compelling narratives to address the specific business problem.

  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and provide data extracts.

  • Use effective data visualisations techniques effectively to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.

  • Maintain standard reporting.

What You Will Bring

  • Qualified with a bachelor’s degree majoring in a quantitative discipline such as analytics, finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or another relevant field

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting

  • Experience with accurately interpreting briefs, performing the required analysis and presenting back to the business with insights, implications, and recommendations

  • Working knowledge of reporting/visualisation tools, preferably Tableau Cloud.

  • Knowledge and experience in SQL, R and Python.
