Job Expectations

We have an exciting opportunity as the Data Governance Manager reporting to the General Manager Data Governance Operations.

A bit about your role

As the Data Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving and supporting the business to establish and execute data governance activity. This involves a variety of problem solving, project management and stakeholder management activity to ensure data domains are not overlapping, are delivering to a high quality, and are recognising synergies between one another.

This role will be an opportunity for you to contribute to solving business-critical problems. You will serve as an advisor for various Chief Data Office activities and foster stakeholder collaboration.

A bit about you

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills. You are highly organised, strong problem-solving skills and proficient in driving change. Experience in technology governance or data governance is preferred but not mandatory.

An understanding of the fundamentals of data governance, data management tools, data modelling, data architectures will be very helpful. A strong consulting background with a focus on project management and data operating models is a plus to candidates.

Finally, as a trusted advisor, you have the ability to develop strategic road maps and remediation plans to overcome potential risks. Experience in performance management metrics will be valuable.
