Job Description

Hey, are you passionate about AI and analytics and searching for an exciting working student activity where you can gain valuable insights into the field of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence? Then we have just the right opportunity for you!

Starting as soon as possible we are looking for you to support our international Applied Analytics & AI (AAAI) team for a period of 9 - 12 months with an average working time of 20 hours per week. We will mainly need you on-site in Hannover.

Our team is tackling over 20 exciting use cases across the Tire organization, utilizing everything from traditional time series forecasting to cutting-edge Generative AI. You will gain hands-on experience in a real business environment and have the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic and innovative team.

Your tasks can vary and will include:

• You assist with programming tasks and create demos for various use cases
• Help us with the documentation
• Support communication and reporting (texts, PowerPoints, PowerBI)
• You develop data visualizations, conduct AI research and collaborate with AI experts and data scientists

Qualifications

Are you wondering if you are suitable for the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence working activity? Here are important qualifications we are looking for:

• You are pursuing a Master degree in Data Science, Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence, so that you have basic knowledge in our area of expertise
• Knowledge of data science and AI as well as programming skills in Python are required
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is beneficial
• You should be familiar with the popular MS Office programs
• Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal, are essential 

In addition to these technical requirements, we are also looking for specific qualities and skills:

• You are independent, goal-oriented and structured and know how to work effectively without losing track
• A high level of creativity and good problem-solving capabilities are a matter of course for you and help you finding the best solutions
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential for this position - after all, we always work together to find solutions
