Advanced Senior Software Developer (Solventum)

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As an Advanced Senior Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Specifying, designing, and leading the development of an integration engine at the core of a big data asset.
  • Being an active member of a high-performing software development team in an agile environment.
  • Contributing to and influencing cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and integrate with newly emerging technologies across 3M Healthcare.
  • Supporting our customers to achieve their goals using our software services.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited university AND 10 years of development experience OR High School Diploma and 14 years of development experience


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • 6 years of software development experience in C# (WCF/WPF)
  • 4 years of RDBMS development experience (PostgreSQL/MSSQL)
  • Full stack experience with WPF, WCF, and relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns
  • Experience developing for AWS cloud platform/services
  • Experience implementing HL7 and FHIR standards
  • Understanding of multi-threaded applications and ORM’s
  • Experience with distributed version control systems, such as Git
  • Proven ability to write clean, concise, and readable code that is modularized and testable
  • Experience developing in Python and Java

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
