Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver commercial performance analysis and insights drumbeat of Amazon and B2B eCommerce within Western Europe
  • Provide regular performance analysis to a wide range of team-members across Western Europe
  • Be a trusted analytics partner who generates recommendations that accelerate growth and influence collaborators
  • Triangulate first and third-party data sources to generate insights through data analysis
  • Ensure data flows are accurate and robust
  • Supply the eCommerce team with a suite of dashboarding and self-serve analysis tools
  • Work with dedicated colleagues from across the wider A&I organisation and Data Engineers / Data Scientists to design and build data solutions to expedite rapid decision making
  • Conduct deep dives and incremental analysis into performance and generate practical insights – particularly supporting key events such as Prime Day, Black Friday
  • Support delivery of advanced analytics and the move from descriptive to predictive analytics

You will be part of the Western Europe Analytics & Insight team composed of A&I leaders located across Western Europe. Our mission is to empower and influence the business to make the right commercial decisions and shape strategy, with unbiased insights and recommendations. You will report and analyse business performance, ensuring data integrity and accelerating growth thanks to a deep shopper understanding and a strong ability to identify and influence business decisions.

Partnering with the Western Europe B2B eCommerce team, who are accountable for growing sales through Amazon, and building up commercial capabilities on eCommerce, you will play a meaningful role in influencing short- and long-term decision-making through practical data insights.

We are looking for an analyst who will support with the understanding of business performance and identifying growth opportunities across markets, audience, and products, delivering the trading drumbeat and creating data solutions for the team. This role will support optimisation of the entire shopper funnel, and in conjunction with the wider A&I Team, enable marketing and operational strategies to ultimately drive commercial results.

Ultimately, the A&I partner uncovers unexpected insights to help The LEGO Group reach more consumers.

Do you have what it takes?

The requirements to succeed in this role are the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience in the data industry
  • Ability to influence the course of business through sharp analysis, effective communication and strong business acumen; identifying commercial opportunities
  • Proficiency in managing a mix of datasets from different sources to analyse commercial performance
  • Strong analytical skills, robust commercial acumen and strength in deriving commercially valuable insights from data
  • Expertise in managing analytics tools and Data Query coding (e.g.,SQL, Python)
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting Tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Good awareness of common Data Analytics techniques, together with advanced Data Visualisation Skills
  • Strong communications and presentation skills – able to communicate complex data analysis to a non-technical audience in a simple way
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Fluency to work in English

Moreover, it would be an advantage if you demonstrate:

  • Experience with Data Science and Advanced Analytics Techniques (Exploratory Data Analysis, Classification, Regression, Clustering)
  • Experience of the Amazon ecosystem, including Amazon Platform, Data, and Tools (i.e., Retail Platform, Amazon Advertising Platform, Amazon Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience working in the Consumer Good industry and/or in eCommerce
