The GSK Market Access Data, Reporting & Analytics team builds Market Access data infrastructure and capabilities to enable data-driven decision making, strategy setting and performance measurements/improvements. We are the “go to” team for quantitative analysis, research and data driven sources of truth for Market Access. We provide data and expertise to back up every decision through a more modernized, actionable and streamlined approach to delivering analytics and insights. We enable Market Access to make data driven decisions to drive profitable access with utmost confidence. The role of Patient Services Analytics Manager within the Data, Reporting & Analytics team is responsible for supporting our Patient Experience (Px) & Reimbursement team through delivery of patient services analytics, tools, and insights aimed at identifying opportunities to improve the patient experience. You will drive analytics and measurement to support key capabilities in patient access and prior authorization, pharmacy dispensing, and patient affordability solutions offered by GSK services across multiple therapeutic areas.

- Develop analytic plans and define KPIs that monitor operational and performance measures for all patient access focused on patient hub and copay services.
- Partner with key stakeholders in Patient Experience & Reimbursement, both in-house and field-based, to understand key business questions and address them through deep-dive exploratory data analyses.
- Craft compelling narratives through storytelling based on complex data and analytics to inform and influence key strategic decisions for Patient Experience Leadership.
- Transform business objectives and inquiries into actionable insights and analytics that that influence strategy for creating positive patient experiences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify new data sources to integrate for increased understanding of the patient journey through our patient programs.
- Support development and enhancements of the field reimbursement patient management platform (PMP) by leveraging subject matter expertise in patient programs and related data. This involves defining business rules and methodologies while facilitating communication between tech teams and key stakeholders.
- Partner with internal teams such as market Access Data Strategy, Px Operations and Tech as well as patient services vendors to determine layouts and requirements for new data sources.
- Collaborate with the Market Access Data Strategy team to define data quality business rules for all third party patient services data and recommend changes/updates as needed.
- Develop data use cases for new data sources or analytics solutions to bring forward to Data Governance Council for review.
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science/Arts degree (4 year)
- 4+ years of data and analytics experience
- 2+ years experience querying databases using SQL, Python, and/or R
- 2+ years experience in a healthcare industry analytics position (pharma, consulting, vendor side) deriving insights from US healthcare claims data and/or patient services data
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, MS, or MA in a discipline relevant to data and analytics
- Experience building data visuals and/or dashboards using tools including, but not limited to, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Qlik View, Power BI, etc.
- 3+ years in a pharma/healthcare industry analytics position analyzing US healthcare administrative claims data and/or patient services data (e.g., hub, copay, SP, etc.) housed in a major data repository (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, Azure, etc.) for commercial business needs.
- Experience using platforms such as Databricks for data analytics, processing, and transformation.
- Experience building predictive models and applying AI and machine learning techniques in the healthcare industry.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex analytic projects with shifting priorities and timelines.
