Job Description

Are you ready to dive into the future of sustainability, collaborative robotics, and machine intelligence? Join our cutting-edge development team as an AI Engineering Intern, where you'll work on mind-blowing projects at the intersection of multi-modal AI (MMAI) and robotic machine intelligence. Picture a world where robots understand and follow complex instructions just like humans - and you can help make that happen!

As an AI Engineering Intern, you will:

• Get Hands-On: Implement and optimize cutting-edge algorithms for robotic disassembly.
• Explore the Frontier: Investigate state-of-the-art vision foundation models to boost robotic comprehension and task execution.
• Innovate and Create: Develop groundbreaking techniques to tackle MMAI assistant challenges, focusing on agentic multi-modal assistants.
• Integrate RAG Components: Work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions to enhance the capabilities of agentic multi-modal assistant.
• Test and fine-tune: Evaluate the performance of MMAI-based robotic systems in diverse scenarios to ensure they are reliable and efficient.
• Document Your Journey: Meticulously document development processes, algorithms, and performance metrics, contributing to our knowledge base.

Qualifications

• Able to work full time for a period of at least 6 months
• Undergraduate/Postgraduate currently pursuing a Degree/Masters in Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field with a keen desire to learn and adapt.
• Hands-on experience with natural language processing and deep learning-based object detection, localization and segmentation frameworks (e.g., YOLO, SegmentAnything etc.).   
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow/PyTorch), LLM prompt engineering, Python, GitHub, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) solutions.
• Curiosity-driven, independent thinking, and creatively solve complex problems.
• Aptitude for gathering reliable and trustworthy data, summarizing new knowledge quickly and efficiently.
• (Highly desirable) Prior research experience; Familiarity with C++, ROS2, MoveIT, Gazebo, CLIP, and Vision Language models
