For the expansion of our Business Information Systems (BIS) team, argenx is looking for a Senior Manager with focus on Data Management and Analytics.
This role will be the product manager for the enterprise-wide data marketplace that is being developed as part of the Data and Analytics (DnA) program. This role will work closely with cross functional teams, including Product Owners, engineering, BI, and customers to bring products to Insights marketplace, monitor product performance, and ensure products meet customer needs and business objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Collaboration with Product Owners: Partner closely with Product Owners to translate high-level product strategies into detailed, actionable user stories and feature requirements. Product Managers ensure alignment to the strategic direction and vision, while Product Owners focus on day-to-day execution and delivery of the product features within their specific domain.
Prioritization of Features & Backlog Management: Work with Product Owners to prioritize features based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility. The Product Owner manages the detailed backlog and ensures that the development team is focused on delivering the highest priority items.
Release Planning and Execution: Responsible for release planning for all the Products. Coordinate the co-creation of plan for upcoming sprints by identifying and distributing tasks based on team priorities and capacity. Coordinate day-to-day work with updates on team progress and action items; identify roadblocks and support needed.
Ways Of Working: Ensure the team is continuously improving on agile ways of working and evolve the operating model to fit the needs of the organization.
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 8-10 years working either in a biopharmaceutical company or a consulting organization with focus on the life sciences sector
Minimum 5 years working in a project manager or scrum master capacity
Strong knowledge of and experience working in an agile methodology
Experience working with JIRA, Smartsheet and other project management tools
Proven ability to plan project tasks, manage team dynamics during execution and stakeholder communication and management
