We are part of the Institutional group that is building a full-service prime brokerage platform with everything that institutions need to execute trades and custody assets at scale. Our team provides comprehensive financing solutions for businesses to deploy institutional trading strategies and enable capital efficiency, including lending, margin and shorting capabilities. We are an experienced group of individuals with many decades of combined experience at top banks and asset managers, and firmly believe that institutional financing services backed by thoughtful risk management programs will usher in new waves of capital and fuel the next crypto expansion. What you’ll be doing: 

• Institutional relationship management with strong client service orientation
• Manage a book of Coinbase Institutional’s highest-priority clients as day-to-day relationship owner 
• Ensure accounts for hedge funds and the institutional financing business are onboarded smoothly
• Provide a seamless customer experience by partnering with legal, compliance, operations, trading and other cross-functional teams on client issues
• Understand client needs and help develop product / technology to support
• Leverage subject matter expertise to help pitch institutional financing products with sales 
• Identify opportunities to match clients with broader institutional product offerings
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing Coinbase institutional clients

What we look for in you:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a relationship or account manager for institutional clients
• In-depth knowledge of global financial markets, prime brokerage, margin, lending, derivatives, trading platforms, custody, and/or crypto
• Fantastic communication skills in order to operate seamlessly with clients and partner teams
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency

Nice to haves:

• Experience in data science and programming (Python, SQL, etc.)
• CFA, CAIA, or other relevant industry designations

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).Pay Range: $130,050—$153,000 USD
