Summer Software Engineer Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in enhancing and maintaining web applications using Java, Python, and PySpark with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Collaborate with team members in a dynamic learning environment.
• Support the development of server utilization alerts and monitoring.
• Coordinate software updates and releases to ensure stable system behavior.
• Partner with security and DevOps teams to implement best practices.
• Analyze and suggest resource optimizations.
• Contribute to routine system maintenance tasks.

Experience Desired:

• Strong collaborative skills with a curious mindset.
• An inclination for creating thorough documentation and checklists.
• Proficiency in at least two: Java, Python, PySpark.
• Experience with AWS Datastack, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Familiarity with GitHub and Jira.

Educational Requirements:

• Current and ongoing enrollment in an accredited college and/or university while working toward completion of bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Engineering or other equivalent degrees.
• Must be at Junior standing (or equivalent) and minimum overall G.P.A. of 3.0
