Job Description

As a Chemical Business Analyst, you will be responsible in setting up and validating e-methods in systems. You will be responsible for:

• Liaising with the test specialists in the analytical labs to determine how the methods are currently being performed, and what information is critical.
• Performing business analysis; by determining which parameters are related to method execution vs result reporting and for all parameters the optimal setup to create data science.
• Translating the method into an S88 process recipe.
• Configuring and validating the electronic methods on the systems.
• The role will also grow into process development.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Biochemistry with a strong background in analytical chemistry.
• Expertise in several chromatographic techniques.
• Strong Knowledge in Python, MATLAB or other programming platform is a big Plus.
• Outstanding written and communication skills in English since this is the working language.
• Understanding of data science and technical insight.
• Showing initiative, assertiveness in follow-up of requests, pro-active approach.
• Accurate and Detail oriented.
• Team player capabilities with the ability to work autonomously.

• A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job. 
• A Permanent contract with flexible working hours. (Can start between 7am and 9:30am) 
• Home – Office: 80% - 20% 
• Place of work: Beerse, Belgium. Bus number 415/416/417 stops in front of the facility.
