Lead Data Product Manager - (250000C1)

As the Lead Product Manager at Children's National Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pediatric healthcare through innovative product development. This strategic leadership position involves driving high-impact product initiatives, creating and owning key features that align with product management strategies and technology goals, and leading complex technical designs. You will influence user experience, direct the entire product lifecycle with minimal assistance, and partner with executives to provide thought leadership and drive innovation. Excelling in strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and transforming insights into actionable improvements, you will ensure the successful delivery of products that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

 

Qualifications

 

Minimum Education

  • Bachelor's Degree A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/statistical or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science). (Required)
  • Master's Degree Master's Preferred (Preferred)

Minimum Work Experience

  • 10 years of related experience, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. (Required)

Required Skills/Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of product management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, NoSQL, and ETL processes, with the ability to leverage these tools for data-driven decision-making and product optimization.
  • Strong background in agile methodologies and leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership in agile environments, with the ability to manage and mentor cross-functional teams, drive agile practices, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, preferably within the healthcare sector, to effectively guide and mentor teams.
  • Azure certification is preferred, indicating proficiency in cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, enhancing the ability to manage and integrate data across various platforms.
  • Expertise in linear models, time series forecasting, and NLP models to drive data-driven insights and improvements.
  • Ability to apply machine learning techniques to solve business problems and improve patient care outcomes.
  • Strong ability to clearly articulate complex findings to diverse audiences, ensuring understanding and alignment.
  • Excellent skills in engaging and influencing stakeholders to drive product success and organizational alignment.

  • Azure (Preferred)

Functional Accountabilities

  • Identify and prioritize key feature enhancements.

  • Lead cross-functional teams in technical design and delivery.

  • Define and implement success metrics and measurement plans.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle.

  • Serve as a thought leader and solve complex problems.

  • Use advanced analytics to address and resolve user issues.

  • Drive collaboration among healthcare professionals, IT, and administrative staff to ensure seamless product development and implementation.

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to post-launch evaluation.

  • Develop comprehensive documentation to guide product development and ensure alignment with user needs and regulatory standards.

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders through effective presentations and facilitate productive team meetings.

  • Leverage advanced product management tools to streamline workflows, track issues, and analyze data for informed decision-making.

  • Address user feedback and utilize data analytics to continuously enhance product functionality and user satisfaction.

  • Proactively seek out opportunities to develop new products or improve existing ones to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Mentor and guide product managers and team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
