We are seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our team onsite at our Corporate office in Nashville, TN. This supervisory role involves mentoring junior developers and overseeing the development of data analytics solutions.

Requirements

 

What you will do as a Senior Power BI Developer:

  • Guide and mentor junior BI developer, providing technical expertise and continuous learning.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across ETL processes, data warehouses, and reporting tools. 
  • Build enterprise data analytics models using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Create self-service models and data analytics solutions utilizing the Power BI service.
  • Work with data gateways, data integration, and self-service data preparation.
  • Perform root cause analysis and problem solving 
  • Automate workflows and processes to enhance efficiency across departments.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, sustainable, and integrated with existing systems.
  • Creates and develops user-friendly data analytics products, including standardized reports, self-service data extracts, and dashboards that deliver timely and accurate insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop, publish, and schedule reports and dashboards to fulfill business requirements.
  • Assist business users in defining functional and data requirements to enhance data models.
  • Contribute to Special Projects as assigned by V.P. of Operations
  •  Contribute to building a positive team environment across the company and build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor 's degree in in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics or a related study required.
  • Possess a strong understanding of data analytics application security models.
  • Extensive experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of creating and managing workflows in Power Automate.
  • Two to Three years of development experience in Data Analytic technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Report Server, and DAX Studio, must have deep technical knowledge and be able to implement any feature and solve any issue.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills—clear, concise, and effective
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills a must
