Junior Systems Data Analyst/Scientist Intern

As a Junior Systems Data Analyst/Scientist Intern, you will work closely with our operations team to analyze data and work on coding solutions around systems data. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in data analysis, designing solutions, software development/testing methodologies, and collaboration within a professional operations/engineering environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with on-call engineers to design and implement systems data solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of software documentation.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Participated in or led a hackathon
  • Have worked in ie. robotics team
  • Can think in terms of workflow or data ecosystems, enjoys puzzles
  • Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, R).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Program Details:

 

  • $21.00/hour
  • Program Dates: May 27th – August 7th
  • Fridays off!
  • Opportunity to participate with other interns across multiple departments.

Local to Atlanta w/ flex hybrid schedule available
